Arriving, leaving, minimum nights, paying, pets and extra beds

• Sorry no online booking, but payment can easily be made by bank transfer or cheque.
  Let me know you are sending payment and your booking will be confirmed when payment arrives.

• Well behaved pets are welcome on request, absolutely no more than two.
  With pets we do ask particularly that they are not allowed on furniture or into the bedrooms. Some guests bring large blankets to protect the sofas where their pets are used to getting up on them at home. We expect them to be supervised inside and outside and that you clear up after them, especially in the garden. This is in the interests of other guests with allergies, and to maintain our standards of cleanliness. Obviously your pet would need to be reliable and well-behaved, remembering that the cottage is surrounded by farmland with sheep and other stock. So long as you can sign up to that, there's no problem. There's a utility room with tiled floor in Woodland Cottage where it would be suitable for them to sleep. Woodland Cottage is the best for dogs as there’s an enclosed garden as well.

• We can't normally manage changeover days at weekends, though it's negotiable during quiet times.
  Lettings run from Friday, Monday Tuesday or Thursday for a minimum of 3 nights
  Arrival after 4pm and checkout by 10am.

• To secure the booking, pay a deposit of 25% straight away and the balance one month before your stay;
  if you're booking within a month of your stay, the total amount should be paid at once. Last minute bookings on the day of the stay have been achieved!
  Remember: holiday home websites charge commissions of up to 20% on top of our rates, it costs you far less to book direct.

• Extra put-you-up bed available (somewhat limited floorspace) £25. Cot and high chair available on request.
